Vazir Truss — Fountain Pen

The Vazir Truss is a buy unique collaboration between *Vazir Fountain Pens and Abstract*, bringing together precision machining, advanced 3D printing, and architectural design to create a fountain pen unlike any other.
Inspired by the truss structures used in modern buildings, the design takes its cues from the way floors and structural elements are connected using truss members to create strong, interconnected three-dimensional lattices. This architectural concept has been translated into a functional writing instrument, giving the Truss its distinctive open-lattice appearance while making its structure an integral part of its character.
Each pen is produced using a combination of precision engineering and advanced 3D printing techniques. Selected components are 3D printed using Acrylate, a high-quality UV resin chosen for its excellent finish and dimensional precision, while other components are precision machined to achieve the required fit, finish and detailing.
The Truss features a magnetic snap cap, providing a satisfying and effortless capping experience, and comes fitted with a German-made Schmidt nib, available in Fine (F), Medium (M), and Broad (B) widths. The pen includes a Schmidt converter, allowing you to use bottled fountain pen inks, and is presented in a specially designed 3D-printed box that complements the engineering aesthetic of the pen.
